The first phase of the process is to meet and gather information from you to gain an understanding of your business, project goals and objectives, desired features, and ideas you may have already formulated regarding what you would like to incorporate in your website. We want to understand who you are, who your audience is, and what we can create that will most effectively present your organization and speak to your customers. From all of this information, we formulate a written proposal outlining the scope of the work, budget, and time lines.
Web Design
STEP 01: KICK-OFF MEETING
The MindKube team starts by taking the time to understand your business goals so we can customize an exceptional product with a strong web presence for you. We ask questions to establish a foundation of knowledge that powers all aspects of your project’s development.
STEP 02: Analysis/Design
We work with you to define all aspects of the project, including user assessment and detailed project planning, and to setup online project management tools.
STEP 03: Information Architecture
User task flow is created, the user’s experience is defined, and all steps necessary to complete the tasks associated with site development are determined. Wireframes and user interface schematics are created for all major areas of the site, allowing for your feedback and ensuring the final product will meet project requirements.
STEP 04: Visual Design
MindKube creates a visual aesthetic for the site based on local character, agency objectives, and any specific brand or identity guidelines. Many variables are taken into consideration to ensure a compelling user interface that aligns well with existing standards, business objectives, and user behavior.
STEP 05: Design Execution
Design specifications and wireframe components are executed and art for use on the site and in subsequent promotions is completed.
STEP 06: Build Out
After your approval of deliverables, code behind the designs is executed, including development of any features or processes required for applications to work effectively.
STEP 07: Migration/Deployment
Deployment consists of migrating code and content to the remote platform on which the site or application will reside, including any backend web services. We concentrate on thorough testing and issue resolution.
STEP 08:Training
MindKube works closely with staff to provide thorough documentation and training on all site functionality and content management features, which will be easy to understand and use.
STEP 09:Launch
The website is pushed live.
STEP 10:Monitoring & Maintenance
This ongoing phase includes robust reporting of web analytics, key search term analysis and reporting, content update assistance, user submissions, and community involvement.
